Two game balls today. The first game ball goes to Jeffrey. He was five-for-five at the plate, taking advantage of his lead off position in the batting lineup to really help the team score some runs. He was asked to do a lot on defense, playing key positions at short and first base. He made big plays at both, including a great stop at first for an out.
Tim earned the second game ball by also going five-for-five for the first time in his career. He made solid contact with the ball and showed a lot of hustle running the bases. He also showed a strong defensive effort, fielding several balls and making an unassisted force-out at third.
