Monday's second game ball goes to Ryan. He, too, set an example, especially with his strong fielding as the team started to struggle defensively in the middle of the game. As in every game before, Ryan was reliable and accounted for some key outs to help get us out of some fielding trouble.
This game ball is also earned from Ryan's play not just in this one game, but for the entire season. Ryan has proven himself to be one of our most reliable hitters, reaching base on almost every at-bat. He also remains vigilantly focused on his defensive responsibilities. He's been asked to come through in some big defensive innings, and has yet to disappoint.
