This year, I'm handing out Game Balls for a little extra recognition. They aren't technically game balls because they haven't been used in the game, but they're brand new balls professionally inscribed with our team name that I hope each of the boys is proud to display.
Our first game ball on April 25th went to Jack for a very strong offensive showing in our home opener. He was five-for-five with a double and a home run.
The next game ball on April 29th went to Jake for a fine all around performance including solid fielding and several key hits at the plate.
In the next game on May 2nd, RJ took the game ball in a game where we struggled mightily. RJ remained committed to making fielding plays and led the team by batting 3 for 4 with a double.
Our most recent game ball on May 5th was earned by Matthew for incredibly consistent performance with his bat. Through three games of play, Matthew is a perfect 12 for 12.
